Forogh Rahim

I am a systemically trained and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, offering virtual individual, couple, and family therapy in PA and CA. My clients seek support for a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, loss, attachment trauma, oppression-based trauma, identity exploration/conflict, racial identity, family and relational conflict, and emotional dysregulation. Many come to me to deconstruct beliefs about themselves and the world that are no longer serving them, and that are instead causing chaos, dysfunction, and pain. Through our work together, clients are able to live more fulfilling lives.

I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, safety, authenticity, curiosity, and cultural humility. A strong connection with my clients allows me to invite vulnerability, explore issues with emotional and spiritual depth, challenge painful patterns, and foster insight into cycles that may be affecting their lives.

I approach presenting issues contextually, exploring individual, familial (values, patterns, intergenerational loss/trauma), and societal factors (often systems of oppression) that are causing or contributing to those issues. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of insight and awareness to create more options for living a more intentional and empowered life.
