I believe that each person and family has unique resources that can be activated to facilitate healing. Brief Therapy is a highly collaborative approach that focuses on practical solutions and clear communication, often requiring fewer than 10 sessions to promote meaningful change. I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with various issues, including marital conflict and affairs, depression and anxiety, children and adolescent problems, addiction, eating disorders, stress, and work-related challenges. Additionally, I offer online and Skype therapy for your convenience.<\/p>\n

As a professor and researcher in the therapy field, I\u2019ve discovered that each client has their own “theory of change.” The most crucial factor in successful therapy is the client’s motivation and engagement. My goal is to help you activate and leverage your personal theory of change.<\/p>\n

I also provide consultation and supervision to mental health clinics, business institutes, and families both in the US and internationally. I am a bilingual English-Farsi therapist with extensive clinical, teaching, and research experience.
