Life is hard; no one said it would be easy. Nothing that has value comes easily. It seems the things that can bring us lasting joy are the things we have to work to achieve. We are all unique in history. Where we come from, our family, and our culture impact who we are and who we will become. Yet, all of us are the same in that we need human interaction. As an approved WA State Supervisor currently taking on LMHCA supervisees, my role as a therapist is to facilitate a comfortable, empathetic environment free of judgment and based on trust.
