As a therapist, I consider my humanity an asset in supporting clients through their challenges, helping them develop a deeper understanding of their lives. As a counsellor and art therapist, I focus on building a therapeutic relationship based on trust. My approach is compassionate and nonjudgmental, combined with my training to assist clients in overcoming their difficulties. I have a special passion for working with immigrants and refugees, as I understand the struggles they often face being a newcomer to Canada myself.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p id=\"_GUAUaeCkPIDI1sQPwuyvuQE_45\" class=\"LC20lb MBeuO DKV0Md\" dir=\"ltr\"><span dir=\"ltr\">{Sheida Shamloo} <\/span>I approach therapy from an anti-oppressive framework, helping clients find self-empowerment in the face of various traumas, including systemic oppression, racism, and mental health stigma. My focus is on helping clients understand how their current perspectives impact their lives, and then working together to change them.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Regardless of your gender, age, cultural background, or diagnosis, you will be welcomed and honored as the unique individual you are. You may be invited to experiment with arts-based interventions, as I believe that art is a powerful form of communication that transcends language and helps us understand ourselves more
