Terminology

  • “Therapists” or “Professionals” include all registered psychologists, psychiatrists, and specialists listed on the website.

  • “Site Staff” are individuals whose contact details are listed on the Contact Us page.

  • “Users” are anyone accessing the website’s information.

  • “Clients” are individuals who book sessions through the website, coordinated by our staff and conducted by approved therapists.

Use of Services

This platform connects users with Iranian psychologists and psychiatrists practicing abroad. Users may book in-person or online sessions directly or through the website.

Therapist Profiles

  • Profiles include resumes, qualifications, specialties, professional experience, and client reviews to assist users in selecting a suitable professional.

  • Verification of Credentials:
    Therapist credentials (e.g., licenses, certifications) are self-reported or collected via public databases/AI systems. The website does not guarantee their accuracy but strives to verify therapists labeled “Verified by Website.”

    • The website reserves the right to remove or modify non-compliant content.

Appointment Booking

  • Clients may book sessions directly with therapists or via the website.

    • Direct bookings: All coordination (scheduling, payments) is the client’s and therapist’s responsibility. The website is not liable for disputes.

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:

    • Changes made ≥48 hours before the session incur no fee (max 3 free reschedules).

    • Late cancellations:

      • 24–48 hours: 20% fee.

      • 12–24 hours: 30% fee.

      • 4–12 hours: 50% fee.

      • 2–4 hours: 70% fee.

      • <2 hours: No refund.

    • Therapist cancellations: Sessions will be rescheduled.

    • No refunds after the first session; only rescheduling or therapist changes (subject to approval).

Privacy Policy

  • Personal data (name, contact details) is shared only with the therapist to facilitate services and is kept confidential.

  • Exceptions for disclosure:

    • Imminent risk of harm to self/others, child abuse, or court orders.

    • If you miss a session, we may contact you to check on your well-being.

Responsibilities & Limitations

  • The website acts as an intermediary and is not liable for therapy outcomes. Clients assume all responsibility for decisions made.

  • The website may modify its content, fees, or policies without prior notice.

Therapist Registration

Psychologists/psychiatrists outside Iran must submit required documents to register.

Session Rules

  • Individual Sessions: 45–60 minutes (initial sessions may exceed 45 mins for assessment).

  • Couples/Family Sessions: 75–90 minutes.

General Terms

By using the website, users and professionals agree to comply with:

  • Local/international laws on mental health services.

  • Copyright protections for all content (text, logos, profiles).

Data Retention

  • Personal data is stored for 365 days or until account deactivation.

  • Deletion requests: Data is anonymized, except where legally required.
